My first trip for Pioneer Subsea was back in Jan’24 & again in March. Where I was put on assignment down in Vaung Tau, Vietnam for the mobilisation for the Ocean Infinity 76mtr fleet. This being the first mob that I have been involved with since starting my ROV career 2yrs ago but having 26yrs of offshore experience I had some idea of what the ROV side of offshore would be like.
When I first went down there joining the vessel at PTSC yard all the guys were very professional in their own trades and skills and could not thank them enough for the knowledge that was being passed down to me. Never have being involved in a main lift re-term and getting involved straight away was a massive boost to my self confidence & obviously learning new skills, that along with everything else that I had been shown.
The shore side of Pioneer Subsea I could not fault with Georgia Wright when the projects come up she is very professional with the logistics side of operations regarding the SOW that was involved with the assignments and on point when it came to the contracts being sent out, the day rate from the client the process basically of all the paperwork that was needed for the projects. Andy Howie for relaying all jobs that was in the “pipeline” that would fit my CV description he was & is still giving the updates with all projects that they have on the board.
I am currently away again with Pioneer Subsea, once again they have shown to me as an agency that they are excellent.
Could not fault Pioneer Subsea in the slightest, always keeping me busy which is great!
