The Career Journey of an ROV Supervisor – Andy Howie

In order to grow every now and then you have to step outside your comfort zone. A couple of weeks ago I did exactly that.

Those that know me, know Im a joker, I like a laugh and love to tell an elaborate story of my escapades from my Navy and offshore days. But its a laugh and we never let the truth get in the way of a good dit!!

To sit and talk about how I got to where I am in my career and the steps that got me there was humbling, especially knowing that it would be for public viewing. Ive never really had to talk about myself in this sort of way before and, though it may not seem like it, I was nervous throughout.

This is all done in aid of a good cause, helping service leavers with their transition back to the big bad world. Laura Allen is trying to help veterans as well as others to find out where they want to be, what they want to do and how they can go about doing it.

For those looking to leave, or already have their “chit” in and want to explore what is available offshore for you drop me a message and we can schedule a chat.
